Spanish speaking practice with an AI coach that talks back

To get better at speaking Spanish you need to say Spanish sentences out loud and hear what to fix. WitSpeak gives you that on your phone: talk freely with Mia or Alex, rehearse real situations like ordering at a café or checking into a hotel, and get feedback on each answer explained in your own language, from beginner A1 up to C1.

What you can practice in Spanish

Pick Spanish as your course language in the app and these modes run in Spanish. Your English progress, if you have any, is kept separately, so you can switch back at any time.

  • Free Talk and Daily Talk: an open conversation in Spanish with Mia or Alex about your day, your plans or any topic you choose.
  • Roleplay: rehearse adult, real-life scenarios in Spanish, from ordering food to a job interview.
  • Beginner course: short lessons for your first Spanish sentences, with a pronunciation score on what you say.
  • Feedback in your language: corrections and explanations come in your own language, so you understand why a sentence was wrong.
  • Levels: separate conversation levels from A1 to C1 for Spanish, so the coach speaks at your level.

Roleplays to try first in Spanish

Every adult roleplay can run in Spanish. These everyday ones are a good start because they use the phrases you will need on a trip or after a move:

  • Ordering at a café

    In-app title: At the Café

Ask for a coffee and something to eat, change your order and pay.

  • Asking for directions

    In-app title: Asking for Directions

Find the station, understand the answer and ask again when you miss a word.

  • Checking into a hotel

    In-app title: Hotel Check-in

Give your booking details, ask about breakfast and sort out a problem with the room.

  • Eating out

    In-app title: Dining Out Abroad

Read the menu aloud, ask what a dish is and handle the bill.

  • At the pharmacy

    In-app title: At the Pharmacy

Describe a symptom and understand how to take what the pharmacist suggests.

  • Weekend plans with a friend

    In-app title: Making Weekend Plans

Suggest a plan, agree on a time and talk about what you like doing.

Feedback you can understand

After each answer WitSpeak shows what to change: a more natural way to say the sentence, the grammar point behind it and the words to use instead. The explanation is in your own language, which matters most in the first months of Spanish, when an explanation in Spanish would be hard to follow.

Typical early fixes are the ones every learner meets: ser or estar, the gender of a noun, the right past tense. Our guide on how to practice speaking Spanish on your own explains these and gives a short daily routine.

Latin American Spanish or Spanish from Spain

You choose the variety you want to learn. Latin American Spanish is the default; Spanish from Spain is one tap away. The choice changes the accent you hear and the words the coach prefers, for example ustedes for a group everywhere in Latin America and vosotros in most of Spain.

What stays English-only

Some WitSpeak modes are built only for English and do not run in Spanish: IELTS-style speaking practice, Rapid Fire, Flow and audiobooks, shadowing videos, the phoneme coach and WitSpeak Kidz. If you also learn English, you can use them by switching your course language back to English.
